Traditional Door Design & Millwork Limited was established in association with the Marchetti Group of Companies, as a result of the vision, planning and pursuit of excellence of the founders.

Equipped with extensive knowledge of hand craftsmanship in woodworking, they soon developed a solid customer base, which necessitated the hiring of qualified carpenters to help build the business. Penegal Trim & Supply Ltd. was the first company incorporated, and has since become one of the largest suppliers and applicators of trim, doors and hardware in the Greater Toronto Area. Marchetti Lumber Co. Limited was then formed, namely for the supply of doors, trim and hardware to fellow subcontractors, renovators and retailers.

In an effort to expand operations, Traditional Door Design & Millwork Limited was formed, the most recent addition to the Marchetti Group of Companies. A production plant was set up to manufacture solid wood panel doors and wood french doors, eventually leading to our current worldwide distribution. The company ensures that a high degree of precision, expertise and attention to detail is given to every architectural door. Over the past decade, production has continued to grow at a steady rate to satisfy the increasing demand.
